The Legacy We Leave: How You Can Be Part of Our Final Chapter
After five years of listening, learning, and witnessing the creative voices of working mothers from around the world, The Working Mother Experience is entering its final chapter. This extraordinary community - now over 200 mothers strong - has helped shape a global conversation about what it means to work, mother, and create meaning in a time that continues to evolve.
We are now completing our permanent record: The Time Capsule (2021–2026) - a global collection of art that reflects the lived experience, creativity, and legacy of motherhood during this era. And we want your voice in it.
Join Mothers Around the World to Create
In February, we hosted A Worldwide Gathering of Mothers & Art - a night where mothers in homes, studios, and shared spaces in countries like Italy, Sweden, and Canada came together to paint, reflect, and contribute to the Time Capsule. And the journey isn’t over yet.
If you missed February 13, there is still time to host your own gathering, whether with close friends, colleagues, or community members, anytime before March 31, 2026. You don’t need prior artistic training or facilitation experience to host. Whether it’s a quiet evening of paint and conversation or a small group workshop, anything that inspires art for the Time Capsule is welcome.]
To support you, we will provide a facilitator guide, creative prompts, and scripts so you can make your gathering meaningful and intentional. Simply email us at workingmotherexperience@gmail.com to receive the materials you need.
Submit & Preserve Your Art
Every piece of art submitted by March 31, 2026 will be included in the printed Time Capsule book - a permanent record of motherhood and work from this era. Whether you submit through one of our events or individually, your work becomes part of this collective story.
