The Working Mother Experience Comes to a Close
Dear friends,
What began as a simple invitation to express one’s journey of motherhood has grown into something extraordinary.
Together, we have created 187 pieces of art, contributed by mothers around the world - each one adding colour, depth, and perspective to The Working Mother Experience. It has been one of the most beautiful journeys we could have imagined.
Now, we are entering the final chapter.
Over the coming months, we are completing The Working Mother Experience Time Capsule (2021-2026), a legacy book and final exhibition that will preserve this collective moment in motherhood and work for years to come. And we are inviting you, once more, to help us take it higher.
Here’s how you can be part of this final push:
1. A Worldwide Gathering of Mothers & Art
A global evening of artistic expression in service of the Time Capsule
On February 13, 2026, mothers around the world will gather locally - in homes, studios, and living rooms - to create art together and contribute to the Time Capsule.
You can:
Host an intimate gathering & invite friends, family or colleagues to create and submit art together. Confirm your host spot here.
Ask a friend or family member abroad to host (details attached).
Come to my house and paint. Email to confirm your spot.
This is about connection, creativity, and shared expression - not perfection. No paint or facilitation experience required to host or paint.
2. Submit Art by March 31 to Be Included in the Time Capsule
This is our legacy project.
All art submitted by March 31, 2026 will be included in The Working Mother Experience Time Capsule - a printed book capturing the richness and diversity of motherhood and work from this era. We will be selling this book at our final exhibit.
Whether you submit individually or as part of a hosted gathering, your work becomes part of a permanent record of this moment.
3. Be Featured in Our Final Exhibition
All artists included in the Time Capsule will also be featured in our final gallery exhibition (date tbc), a collective celebration and closing moment for this journey.
This project has always been about connection, creativity, and community. As we close this chapter, we feel deeply grateful, and incredibly excited, to see how this final collection comes together.
