How to Leave Your Mark
The Working Mother Experience Comes to a CloseOur journey to tell the story of motherhood through art is entering its final chapter. Over 190 mothers have already joined the movement, contributing their voices to The Working Mother Experience through art. Now, we are completing our permanent record: The Time Capsule (2021–2026).
Your perspective belongs in this history. Help us represent the unique experiences of working mothers from across the globe in this final collection. See below for all the ways you can be part of the art.
Gather & Create
Join Mothers Around the World
Join mothers around the world for a global evening of artistic expression on February 13. If this date doesn’t work, host your event on another night!
Host a Gathering: Open your home or a shared space to friends and colleagues to create together. No prior art or facilitation experience is required.
Contribute Globally: Any gathering, regardless of date or size, that inspires art for the Time Capsule is welcome.

Submit & Preserve
Submission Deadline before March 31, 2026The Time Capsule book is a permanent record of motherhood and work from this era.
Be Included: Every piece of art submitted by March 31 will be included in the printed legacy book.
If you attended a workshop or event from 2021-2025 and submitted your artwork in those sessions, those pieces have already been captured for inclusion in the Time Capsule book.
Your Legacy: Whether you submit individually or through a gathering, your work becomes part of this collective story. Email your art to workingmotherexperience@gmail.com with your full name, title of piece and 1-2 sentences describing your art.
