Moms and Minis Art Workshop
In this 2-hour workshop, moms and minis (their amazing kiddos) will both paint a canvas. Moms will be asked to reflect and paint what it means to be a working mother. Children will be guided to paint what it means to be a kid. At the end of the workshop, we will create space for those who wish to share more about what they've painted.
The workshop will be co-facilitated by The Working Mother Experience's founders and their daughters. This workshop will be a joy-filled, creative, and expressive opportunity for moms and kiddos to connect together through art.
All supplies are included! Just bring yourself and your mini.
P.S. If you need ideas for a special lady in your life (or want to treat yourself), consider purchasing our Give the Gift of Creativity package that features two tickets to our Moms & Minis workshop + our 2025 Calendar for only $65. Sign up here!
The Working Mother Experience LIVE
Our first in-person exhibition, launched October 2023, showcased close to 30 pieces of original art by working mothers around the world.
The exhibition, sponsored by The YMCA @ Rocky Ridge, ran for the month of October. We received some fantastic press coverage. We hosted a celebratory event that included a keynote address, musical performance, and a paint workshop to inspire new working mothers to creatively share what it means to work and mother. With ticket sales and sponsorships we were able to donate $775 to the YMCA’s community art programs.
It was a resounding success and we are incredibly grateful to our community sponsors for helping to make it happen. Thank you to the YMCA @ Rocky Ridge, Agnew Insurance Ltd., Damian Blunt Photography, Fraser & Fig, Margaret Dahlberg, Stock & Sauce, Mane House of Hair, Ellie Bianca Skincare, Partake, Ollia, and Amanda Langbroek.
Stay tuned for more information about our next gallery exhibit in…Sweden 2024!
